RAKURAKU BAN, Julight, and Super Julight are eco-friendly, lightweight ground protection mats primarily made from recycled polyethylene. Designed for temporary applications such as surface protection and site coverage, these products offer excellent versatility in various environments.
However, please note that these are not substitutes for steel plates in terms of strength. Their performance is greatly affected by the bearing capacity of the ground on which they are installed. For safe usage, please carefully read the following usage precautions and guidelines.
◇Prohibited Uses to Ensure Safety
- Do not use for bridging gaps or large holes
→ These products cannot support the weight of vehicles or pedestrians over such openings.
- Not suitable for use as crane outrigger pads on soft ground
→ May lead to sinking or product failure.
- Avoid installation on unstable or sloped surfaces
- Do not perform sudden acceleration, braking, or sharp turns on the mats
→ There is a risk of the mats shifting or being displaced. Even when connected with bands or ties, extreme driving may cause detachment.
- Do not expose the products to direct flames or open fire
→ Avoid activities like bonfires or welding directly on the mats.
- Secure with anchors in strong winds or typhoon conditions
→ If extreme weather is expected, remove the mats in advance to prevent accidents.
◇General Usage Precautions
- Impact from sharp equipment like buckets or stones
→ May cause scratches, cracks, or tearing of the mat surface.
- Avoid driving vehicles over height differences
→ Shearing or bending of the mat may occur.
- Recommended operating temperature: approx. 15°C to 50°C
→ The material becomes harder and more brittle in cold weather and may expand significantly in hot conditions under direct sunlight.
- Allow space for thermal expansion
→ Leave approx. 10mm between each mat when laying them out.
- When used on concrete or asphalt
→ Warping may occur due to heat buildup. Anchoring is strongly recommended.
